$300,000 Stolen From The Back Of A Brinks Truck In Chicago

For some in Chicago, Universal Basic Income came early...

Such was the case when approximately $300,000 was reported stolen last week after bags of cash tumbled from a Brinks Home Security Company truck in the Chicago suburb of Oak Park, according to a police complaint, the New York Post and NBC.

Brinks stated that the truck’s rear door opened by "unknown means," causing three bags filled with U.S. currency to spill out.

While driving south on Austin Boulevard last Tuesday, a Brinks driver lost three bags of cash, according to a police complaint. When the driver returned, 50 to 100 people were seen grabbing money and fleeing. Brinks estimated the loss at $300,000. As of Friday, Oak Park officials said no arrests had been made.

When I was a teenager I used to spend countless hours trying to devise a plan to rob one of those things and figure it out so well to never be caught. I never ever figured it out though. I had sketch books filled with diagrams and inventions like some nutty professor handbook LOL. at one point I thought it might be possible to alter a crane and lift it magnetically somehow :lulz: those were the days before all the GPS shit wrecked my plans.
I do like that old movie from the 70's where a bunch of women cut a hole through a shopping mall floor and suck money out with a vacuum hose :tu: but sadly it's only a movie.

Best way is to become a Brinks guard, duh. Your access becomes much easier. You obviously would need atleast one mate that is an outsider and unknown to follow or just rob you. But here's the rub, once you pull off your heist, you split your take, you can never associate with them again.

The Dunbar robbery in LA, 1997. The mastermind of the hiest Allen Pace, who was a safety inspector for Dunbar. Stole 18 million.

6 dudes with >three million a piece? Or did one get more and the other five work piece meal if you know?

I caught my eldest brother Vernon & three others robbing banks, two of the local ones here. Eventually, they were all killed but, there were atleast two more possibles in on the first bank robbery. One is still alive, the other died in a federal prison where he was serving a life sentence in 2023. 😒

Kenneth Noye stole £26 million from Brinks in the 80s, I'm surprised people are still trusting the cunts to transport anything 🤷‍♂️
It probably happens to all of the transpo companies but, it's downplayed especially if they suspect it was an inside job. The bigger companies are insured so they still use them. 🤷‍♀️

That's true, I dread to think what their insurance premiums are though, the funny thing about the Brinks mat robbery in the 80s, is most of the gold was never recovered and it's believed much of it was melted down and put back in to the market as legit bullion and some ended up back in the hands of the original owner Johnson Matthey 😆

Even if any large lost sums are recovered, what would inspire anyone to turn it in? Also, if insurance covers them and they are already paid out, do they have to return the payment? Also, putting them in jail once convicted so the tax payers still have to eat the cost of shitbirds that stole from their communities is repugnant in my opinion.

easiest way to recover the cash would be to check facebook profiles of anyone local, niggers just cant help themselves and will be bragging online about how much free cash they just "found"

Did they catch him & successfully prosecute him?
Apparently, the temptation is too great for many that work with that much money.
17 million, they bought houses and stupid shit like a velvet painting of Elvis that ended up in a local pawn shop, but the fbi cought them. One of the accomplice went from living in a trailer to a mansion.
