That shit happened to an American kid in Singapore when I was in high school. He got caught vandalizing some cars and the Singaporean government sentenced him to six lashes but it was reduced to four. It caused a huge uproar. Personally I think we should bring it back myself. Kids don't even get the belt anymore and that's what's wrong with this world
