These stores are owned by large companies. It's cheaper for them to allow the theft than have an employee get injured trying to stop the theft. It also saves the store money when they want to shut down the stores because the thefts make their leases and contracts null and void. Stores would rather sell their products online the reason they don't is because all retailers aren't doing it yet. But once all the competition is forced to sell online then there wont be an advantage.
i get it. but its the fact that if no one tries to stop them,then whats to say that these pricks wont rob a store thats not a chain store or owned by a large company. because theyre gunna hit mom n pop stores and think its ok till one of these scumbags gets taken out. and also it seems like these large companies are condoning this behaviour. just to sell their shit on line.

You're not comparing that to the daytime smash and grab in a public mall, are you? Because they are not the same.
A daylight robbery is not the same as B and E on a store that is closed. As other people pointed out State and local laws as well as insurance companies do not allow anyone but the Police to interfere with a crime. Your example is a failure considering gun shop owners are armed and often shoot anyone trying to steal from them.
Dems impose anti-gun laws and the like which makes it difficult for anyone to defend themselves against violent crime. You are also held liable so you can never let a criminal live.
We had a video posted here of a guy in CA open up on two armed negros that tried to jeck him on his property at the front door. The State said he could not carry.
Overall the Police do not catch these people or the prosecution is weak.
