| 21. Mercer house Savanah, Georgia May 2, 1981, Danny Hansford was believed to be shot dead by home owner Jim Williams. Williams was found not guilty of the shooting. The homes was made famous by the book Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil.

Sharon Tate House Los Angeles, California August 9, 1969, Charles Manson and his followers barged into the home murdering actress Sharon Tate, coffee heiress Abigail Folger, celebrity hair stylist Jay Sebring, Steven Parent and Wojciech Frykowski. Tate's unborn baby also did not survive the attack in which all victims were stabbed to death. 
23. Ed Gein House Plainfield, Wisconsin Suspected serial killer Ed Gein created many atrocities in this house in the form of recently deceased human remains he stole from graveyards in this home. It's confirmed he murdered hardware store owner Bernice Worden and Tavern owner Mary Hogan. Even though these confirmed murders did not occur in the home, their remains were found their and it's likely other victims were murdered their.

Vacant at the time, Albert Fish used this home to murder ten year old Grace Budd, who's parents lived in Manhattan on W. 15th street, let her go with him to attend his neices birthday party. Instead, Fish took Grace here, killed her, then consumed her remains over a period of nine days.
