Barks Up Wrong Trees On Thin Ice
Thanks for stopping by. Alright, so here’s the deal:
My ex wife’s attorney called the police on 12/23/2020 and told the 911 operator that I had come in his law firm’s office earlier that day during business hours, and trashed the place.
The cop called me to inquire about why I had done such a thing, and I told him “Impossible! I’m in New Jersey!” Which I was. I had flown there the previous day to go see family. Mother just died, blah blah. All 100% true. I sent the cop my travel itinerary.
The law firm was CERTAIN it was me by looking at my picture. They said I had motive, I’m a crazy combat veteran, blah blah. However, when the cop looked at the security footage from that morning, there was NO ONE on ANY of the cameras. Not simply, there wasn’t ME on the camera, but there wasn’t ANYONE seen entering the building during the time they said I did this.
The law firm never named any other possible suspects. They ARE pieces of shit, and IF this really happened at all, then I’m certain these cock suckers have a ton more enemies. But nope:... I watched all the body came footage, and listened to the 911 tape... they only named me, and NO ONE else the entire time.
What was their motive? (I believe.)
#1. I represented myself, and absolutely destroyed them and embarrassed them at the divorce trial. I was ordered to pay the ex half the equity in the home ($20k), and her attorney cost her $20k. Nothing else! Jack shit! They obviously wanted WAY more than $20k. She was probably not very psyched at how unprepared (and expensive) he was.
#2. If I didn’t send her the check for $20k by January 23rd, then I would be forced to sell the home and split the equity, which by THEN would be $480,000. (A veterans organization paid off my house 2 weeks after the divorce was finalized.) Essentially, they stood to win another $240,000 if I was locked up and couldn’t pay her the $20k.
#3. I’m already on probation for assault, and if I was within 50 miles of that office that morning with no alibiyou bet your as they would’ve locked me up and asked questions later. Thank GOD (allahu akbar), I was over 3,000 miles away!
WHAT is my recourse here?
The statute I think they violated is C.R.S. 18-8-111.
Any civil recourse? Media attention?
Any help, advice, experience, anecdotes, and/or support is much appreciated in advance.
Cheers, fuckers!
