Aussie soldier arrested by war crimes

Coward killer

Guy was executed yes. But the problem with this conflict was that he could have been a fighter and if they’d have let him go he might have gone and alerted the target, grabbed his bolt action rifle and ambushed them?

Who knows.

The problem was filming it and leaking the tape.

Also. These afghans are chads. Fighting in PJs with old weapons and no technology. He’s a kid and a farmer now but in a few minutes he’s coming back armed.

Video or not they have to prove he wasn't a enemy combatant. Given the quality of the prosecutors the government hires I won't be surprised if they fuck this up and he walks free.

He is free .

Bail conditions imposed to ensure Schulz does not flee the country while released include a 10pm to 5am curfew, a requirement he hand over his passport and stay away from international points of departure, a prohibition on contacting others within his military rotation from Afghanistan, and daily reporting to his local police station.
Additionally, a $200,000 surety will be handed over to the court guaranteeing he comply with these conditions

I don't think there is any special forces unit in this world that wouldn't be guilty of some sort of war crime like that..
I heard a story from a former SAS solider in NZ whose unit killed a group of paramilitary serbs in the '90's in cold blood.

They came into a town where everything had been killed, these guys came around the corner, noticed they were wearing "UN" badges so casually told them what hey had done, so these guys killed the lot of them straight away.
Piled them up and shoved a phosphorus grenade in and the evidence disappeared.
