American rapper Azealia Banks cancelled her performance in Brisbane on Tuesday night and has vowed never to return to Australia.
Banks performed at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on Sunday night, but pulled out of this week’s re-scheduled Brisbane show. Her cancelled Melbourne show at Festival Hall on December 10 was still listed as “being rescheduled” on the venue’s website late on Wednesday.

Hours before Tuesday night’s re-scheduled Brisbane show, Banks announced on Instagram the show would not go ahead, referring to a previous bad experience she had on stage in Brisbane.
“Last time I was in Brisbane and ya’ll threw shit on the stage and damn near almost f---ing hit me in the face with a f---ing bottle of soda or whatever that shit was,” she said in a video posted on Instagram.

“That was the most racist, most demoralising experience of my f---ing life and right now I’m on a really good track.”
After her initial Instagram story about cancelling her performance at Brisbane’s Tivoli Theatre, Banks said the show would go ahead, but “any and everything that can be considered a projectile must be checked in at coat check. No keys, no coins, no hairbrushes, no vape pens, no lighters. No drinks on the dance floor. The minute something stupid happens I’m leaving.
“After this run this will be my very last time touring Australia,” she said.
“This place makes me utterly miserable and I’m too black and beautiful to have a bunch of white people in my face playing with me over their weak ass currency.”

After Banks referred to these current shows as her “farewell tour” of Australia, touring company Point Productions later contacted ticket holders to say the Brisbane show would not go ahead.
Point Productions has been contacted for comment.
In an Instagram statement that has since been deleted, Point Productions claimed a re-scheduled Melbourne show would go ahead. However, in her own Instagram post, which has also been deleted, Banks said there would be no Melbourne performance, after last weekend’s cancelled show.
“The promoters dragged their feet, agreed to provide a number of amenities which were not provided,” Banks said. I have been at the airport since 7am. There will be no rescheduled Melbourne show.”

Banks returned to Instagram, to apologise to fans after cancelling her re-scheduled Brisbane show.
“Major apologies to the fans who bought tickets, but there will be no rescheduled show. I have shit to do,” she said.
Banks, who had a hit with debut single 212, has had a rocky relationship with Australia, having referred to her appearance at Splendour In the Grass in 2015 as “a waste of my f---ing time”.

Not only are we all white supremists, our currency is shit too.

Some people always have something to whine about...
Not to mention, compulsory vaccines, but nobody talking about that shit?

Pfft she's had sand in her vagina ever since Russell Crowe kicked her out of his birthday party, and she's only saying she'll never return to Australia because she knows we wouldn't have her back anyway. Does she not realise whoever threw the projectile probably paid for their ticket as well? And who the fuck is gonna throw their keys?

I'd buy a ticket and throw something like a copy of her album with a $2 pricetag sticker on it on stage just to watch the tantrum. That alone would be worth the price of admission. Don't let the koalas bite you in the ass on the way out, love.
