10th of June 2025 - a school shooting took place in the otherwise chill-(ish) Austrian Republic, more specifically in the city of Graz.

According to the news as of now at least 10 dead and several injured

It's not suprising in the least, the youth once had aspirations, now they just have nihilism. And who can blame them, almost everything they are doing in school is pointless. This generation need only speak and the AI on their phone will complete and email an entire homework assignment to their teacher without them having so much as to see it first. What does this spell for their future, 1. They won't know anything 2. It won't matter that they don't know anything because the AI knows everything and the AI will be getting their jobs instead of them. Maybe I'm being pessimistic about the future of today's kids, but one thing is clear, the way AI is advancing is very similar to Skynet and as always there will be wars, maybe the youth will find purpose fighting the machines on the battlefields.
