I'm lost, surely letting go of your handlebars is a bit of a no-no? Even if it's just "look mom no hands"?Good save man! Look like he deliberately let go of the bars and rear braked! Cool under pressure. Arguably save his life, or at least his legs!
The front is already uncontrollable. You holding onto them isn't going to help. You have to put more weight on the front tire so it gains better control. So you back brake or you throttle up and down to make the bike surge.I'm lost, surely letting go of your handlebars is a bit of a no-no? Even if it's just "look mom no hands"?
Thank you for explaining, I can't even drive a car.The front is already uncontrollable. You holding onto them isn't going to help. You have to put more weight on the front tire so it gains better control. So you back brake or you throttle up and down to make the bike surge.
These wobbles occur more often on motorcycles that people do wheelies on because the impact when the front comes back down damages it.
I would never drive a motorcycle on the interstate or even a jeep wrangler. These vehicles were originally built for their off-road capabilities. Using them on interstates or speeds over 65MPH creates a risk not worth it. Driving is overrated. I hardly drive anywhere anymore.Thank you for explaining, I can't even drive a car.
Disappointing ending
No the bike always wants to correct itself, keeping hold of the bars human instincts will kick in trying to correct it which in fact makes it worse, the save was steering the bike with his legs away from other traffic,I'm lost, surely letting go of your handlebars is a bit of a no-no? Even if it's just "look mom no hands"?
