A motorcyclist was flung high into the air after his motorcycle collided with a multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) in an accident at Jalan Rizab Zazuli, Bukit Hijau, Jeram, here.
The horrifying moment was recorded by a closed-circuit television (CCTV) camera at the location before going viral on social media via a 22-second video.
In the footage, the MPV involved is believed to have been turning right before suddenly colliding with the motorcycle coming from the opposite direction.
The motorcyclist was seen being flung several meters into the air before landing in a ditch on the shoulder of the road.
As of now, the condition of the victim involved has not been confirmed.
Based on the comments section of the video post, many questioned the driving habits of both the rider and the driver, especially considering they were on a village road.
A Facebook user known as Arief Idzhar stated that both parties were at fault.
"Riders on village roads can't ride like they are on a highway; [they need to go] slow in village areas.
"The driver didn't check the situation ahead and didn't signal before turning into the junction," he explained
