This happened a couple years ago. Here's the full video. The mother shows up and while they both screamed and yelled, ultimately the phone screen was returned and they both left without the repair. The mother appears to at least be somewhat responsible in making her daughter give back the phone to put her old screen back on so they both can leave, but as typical, neither are willing to take any accountability for the fact the daughter tried to run without paying. Store owner got lucky he had the ability to remote lock the door and no damages done to the store. But the cops still should have come. Would have been really satisfying to see the runner get charged.

And then she would plead to some lesser offense, serve no time, and she'd be free to try it again with her friend holding the door open for her next time. No, she needs a good beat down IMO. If nothing else, she'll remember that for longer than the hour it takes for her to take a ride to the PD and then get released on her own recognizance.

thanks! I just seen it on Reddit today. I have some more videos of this type of behavior (blacks trying to leave the store only to get locked inside). I have one that's so funny. This black dude tried robbing the clerks AT GUNPOINT. They got away and locked down the store.
