I've said it on here before, but my father was an ffl gun dealer for over 35 years. It was absolutely staggering how many cops I met that knew NOTHING about firearms in general, and sometimes even their own service weapon.

"Sound" IS hard as we say in the biz, I've run a few mics/cables/wireless lavs along the way. That's a mil in insurance for sure, and his estate will receive $50/k per epi broadcast (union scale last time I worked in tv).

Three of my children are LEO’s (not in Nebraska) so I give officers the benefit of doubt most of the time, but this deal was fucked up. The courts dismissed the wrongful death suit against the PD twice (on appeal). His estate didn’t get a dollar from Omaha. I read that the trigger happy cops changed professions though. I hope the producers of COPS helped out the fam.
As far as my offspring, if they have to shoot I want them to empty their first mag before coming up for air. I don’t want to raise my grandchildren. I have too much fun filling them up with sugar and taking them home.
