Gastonia, North Carolina — Newly released surveillance footage shows the moment plainclothes police officers fatally shot Derrick Manigault outside a convenience store on January 10.
Authorities said the officers attempted to approach Manigault before the encounter escalated into a shooting. Prosecutors later announced that no charges would be filed against the officers involved.
