Security camera footage showed that the bus driver, S.K., who was taking the vehicle to a depot, suddenly took ill (reportedly, a "sudden epileptic fit"), which caused the bus to wreak havoc on the road. There were no passengers on the bus, as it was being driven to a depot.

Sources differ on whether S. was taken into hospital in critical condition, or whether he was taken into custody, where he told police he suffered from epilepsy.

If he knew he had epilepsy before taking the job that’s just crazy stupidity thinking “ oh I’ll be ok I won’t seizure while driving “.
And I’m pretty sure someone with epilepsy knows when a seizure is coming on so he could stop bus in time.
