A liquor businessman, S.M., was shot outside a roadside restaurant, or 'dhaba', in Sonipat, Haryana state. It is believed the shooters fired over 35 rounds of bullets into S.

Reportedly, S. had recently been arrested for murder and attempted murder, and had recently been released on bail. He was formerly a sharpshooter in the gang of Neetu Dabodia, a top gangster who was killed in 2013.

Claiming responsibility for the attack was Himanshu Bhau, a gangster against whom Interpol issued a red notice last year. He is believed to be residing in Portugal. Police, however, dismissed speculation that S.'s murder took place due to a gang war.

They almost shot each other. And It looked like they missed him a few times. Then one had their gun jam. A hit should take less than 10 seconds. Any longer and you risk a passerby getting the drop on you.
