My mates been in Liverpool all weekend and he said 70% to 80% of the Liverpool fans there weren't scousers, mainly Americans, Londoners and Chinks.

Police statement
We would ask people not to speculate on the circumstances surrounding tonightβs incident on Water Street in Liverpool city centre. We can confirm the man arrested is a 53-year-old white British man from the Liverpool area.
They haven't said how many were injured or if anyone is dead.
