Gavilán,’ head of security for the ‘Los Chapitos’ faction of the Sinaloa Cartel (CDS), was allegedly killed on January 6 near the Fovissste Diamante apartments in Culiacán. Images show gunmen lifting a face-down body and recovering what appears to be Gavilán’s personal weapon before leaving the scene.
