it’s become so common and you gotta just wait it out cuz you’ll make it worse if you say anything.
I was sitting in the library a few years ago studying for some kind of certification BS for work. A lady came in who looked very similar to her except with long corn rows sits at the table next to me, gets on her phone, and starts talking loud like that.
I think the library staff was afraid of her but I wasn’t 😆 I told her to stfu and take it outside as I was trying to study.
She started wiggin’ out on me and I was like, “Bring it - I’m in my 50s - you don’t think I don’t know how to take care of your smart mouth? I got 3 grown kids”… etc 😆
FINALLY, the staff came over and offered us both study rooms which was nice bc - if they would have kicked me out - I was ready to make an even bigger scene.
Absolutely zero fucks to give with situational awareness and common courtesy.
