Damn boy, have you ever shot a rifle? The distance was about 570 feet with a high caliber weapon, a 30-06, and it had a pretty nice scope on it. The scope just made it almost impossible to miss, but it would have been an easy shot with iron sights. The elevation makes it an easier shot because the shooter has no obstructions, and it is easier to shoot from an elevated position. That is why the military likes the high ground. From that distance there is not going to be any bullet drop from the round fired, and the wind is not going to make any difference. He had the whole chest area to shoot at, and I imagine that is what he aimed for and got the neck. Most anywhere from the chest up with that round was going to have the same outcome. I go to a rifle range once a month and a pistol range at least once a month usually more. I could have made this shot when I was a kid. I guess the best thing I can tell you is don't come to the south and show your ass. We have kids that can and do make this shot by the time they are 12 and hunt successfully. Now go sit the fuck down and let adults talk. You might learn something if you can keep your cock hole closed long enough.
