I see a lot of this in the city when bikes get the front wheel jammed in the tram tracks I've actually seen a few complete front flips.

This happened to me at like 16, pancaked my wheel right in half...on the beach strip. I was like 20 miles from home too, still embarrassed. Never got on a 10 speed again with those stupid skinny little tires.
