we dont know if nothing hit, we only know it wasnt an instant killing blow, do you not get how guns or injuries work? if its not the spine, heart or head, its not going to be instant, or usually anything near it, you can live a lung shot for like 20 minutes even if it absolutely decimates one of your lungs, its not pleasant, youre probably going to die without immediate medical attention, but you can still move around, you arent instantly on the floor.
