Funny Crazy fruit seller in India

Bro I’d be there every day to buy whatever that is just watch where you swing that knife my guy 😁

If you come to India don't buy fruit that has been pre-cut or displayed. It is likely to be contaminated due to traffic exhaust/dust/flies/human touch due to being handled by passerby and may lead to a bout of turista.

Insist on a whole fruit and don't expect the fruit seller to sell at a fair price. It is expected you bargain and even after bargaining you will likely have overpaid.

Fruits like most perishable or food commodities are sold by the kilo, insist on getting the fruits weighed and pay fair price.

It is best to have a local along or build camaraderie by exchanging pleasantries with other buyers on the stall enough that they may report you the original or reasonable price and may rebuke the vendor if he overcharges.

Be wary of vendors displaying showmanship like this one. It's likely they are doing this as their product might be of a less than spectacular quality. Don't be shy about asking a taster though. If you intend on buying it is fair to ask the vendor to cut open a part of the fruit and let you have a bit to check it's ripeness.
