Look at the crime, high taxes, businesses and residents leaving liberally dominated areas like California, Detroit, Chicago, New York City, and contrast that with Florida and Texas. The vast majority of homeless in this country became so primarily due to mental health issues, PTSD being near the top of the list.
Are you aware of how many decorated veterans in this country are homeless?

I've spent decades assisting the homeless and I know for a fact that the majority of them would give you their last bite to eat if you needed it. The entities making it harder for people to live are greedy corporations. Minimum wage should be at least $25 an hour to match 1980s inflation levels. All corporations pimp their people out. They charge a higher value for their workers services and then pay out a fraction of that.
Well you have a choice. You can sit home and do nothing or you can get an eduction and make more money. Opportunities are there. Everyone gets one. It’s up to you to take advantage. And I agree that rates across the board need to go up? But just min wage go up to $25? Fuck no. Then I’m taking a paycut.
The problem is ppl that work min wage jobs thinking they need to survive off it. It’s entry level. Not made to live off of. Only idiots think that’s what it’s for. It’s for kids. Not adults.
there is not enoungh public land in the US. Some states are doing it right like nevada (90% public land), there is barely any public land on the east coast and midwest. The old west there was no private property at one point, must have been nice to travel wherever one wanted to go. Now in 2024, everyone has to traverse on a Right of Way grid to get around. You can extrapolate this out and see where we are going, but i will save that for another post.
Old school thinking. One could argue that the sevice oriented jobs in the US could all be easily replaced. I will give you a list of examples: truck drivers will be completely replaced in 20 years (Aurora innovation); cashiers have been slowly phased out with self checkout; some fast food chains are going fully autonomous with no workers whatsoever; writing, movies will all be created by AI in the near future; manufacturing is going fully autonomous what took a team could now be done by 1; i dont even go to a primary care doctor anymore becuase chat gpt can provide me a better job; financial advisors are being replaced with AI; the list goes on, what has worked in the past will not work in the future, only a matter of time for universal income, only safe jobs will be computer/robotic oriented

As far as land goes? Fucking really? You must live under a rock. So let me illustrate for you. 80% of the population live around water. Meaning Seattle to San Diego, to the tips of Florida off the coast to Maine and Massachusetts with many living around the Great Lakes . The Midwest has VAST amounts of land. Thing is?
