I saw Billy in the Burgh the Weekend of the Edmund Fitzgerald Anniversary. He does a rendition of the Gordon Lightfoot song about the wreck I was hoping he would play . He didn't. But the show was still FUCKING AWESOME!!! Billy's voice at times sounds just like a young Doc Watson . More so than Docs own Son Merle sounded like, if you ask me.

Very cool! I saw him in Manchester a couple years ago. He did not disappoint! He was heavily influenced by Doc Watson and it comes across in his playing and singing.
Do you like the Often Herd? My buddy Niles used to play a Fiddle for that bluegrass band outa Manchester a few years ago. He was a Bromberg protege.
