No, just pointing out that bands like slayer and megadeth didn't pussy out of metal for cock rock and $$$

I'm not a musician nor it is my livelihood, that being said, I somehow think their music changed when James quit the booze. There are so many bands I loved (back in the day) and then they gradually changed over the years and I lost interest. I missed their "original" feel. I'm not an avid fan of Metallica, haven't heard most of their music. I like old as well as new tunes from them. My husband has a few of their old albums (when they first started out) and those are his favorite. He lost interest in them after their "Black" album and bitched and moaned at how much they changed.

All I can say is people change (for whatever reason), I personally love the old "cock rock" bands from the 80's 8). It is very rare when I find a band I like that fits into the black, death, goregrind, speed, thrash etc. metal category. It usually gives me a headache and it's like someone is scratching their nails down a chalkboard.

It also depends on the mood I'm in, reason why I like coming here, I like to listen to the bands posted, if something piques my interest, then I look for other tunes from that particular band.

Shortly after the Black Album Metallica stopped doing what they liked and started doing what most people like. From there they lost many fans.

But they do not deny it, in fact, if I remember correctly the singer said some of this in an interview.
