mum use to play this for me when I was really little, kinda like it because this folk music gave me a feeling that felt familiar and distant.
You are probably are in the same generation my mum was in. A lot of her friends like that kind of music. Depending on the area, a few out in the blue Mountains.I remember that one...

That makes sense to me now haha. My dad nearly died bush bashing out that way. Got lost for 5 days the silly prick.I was born in Katoomba...
Blue mountains is one of the most amazing places on the planet. But Katoomba sucks now. Busloads of tourists, try hard city tools trying to be hippies, hipster doofuses and yuppie cunts...That makes sense to me now haha. My dad nearly died bush bashing out that way. Last time I went there was on a school trip and what you said is exactly what I saw. Back in the day it sounded really nice. I don't mind all the permaculture off grid types as long as they aren't the blue haired coffee drinking poofters. Use to do trade meets with a few women from the blue mountains, lovely people.Blue mountains is one of the most amazing places on the planet. But Katoomba sucks now. There still is some of the old timers there in the valleys and out back a bit. Where I live now has been taken over by "blue haired coffee drinking poofters" like you put it. I call em yippies or try hard hippies. Most of em come from Victoria. They think they are better than everyone else. I always think of the smug episode and hippie episode of Southpark...spot on...Last time I went there was on a school trip and what you said is exactly what I saw. Go to banks wall, highest cliff in Oz I'm pretty sure. And if you can stand the drive(takes ages), Jenolan caves is awesome. The road in is one of the hairiest roads you will go on.Might go back up there again just to see the three sisters. Worth the trip in my opinion.
Jenolan is great, went there a few times as a kid. Reminds me a bit of the glowworm tunnel out in Lithgow, that's also a very cool place. Heard the great barrier Reef is bad now, not sure though. It was fine when I went there. Mount Kosciuszko I don't remember that much since I was tired but yeah, all mad places.Go to banks wall, highest cliff in Oz I'm pretty sure.
