A while back I watched a documentary about the construction of this plane and I instantly fell in love with it. Little did I know (or did anyone else) how many hearts would be broken while this beauty was in service with Malaysian Airlines. MH17 and MH370, both 777s - one shot down and the other missing and presumed crashed in the Indian ocean someplace has brought about the retirement of all triple sevens within their fleet. RIP
