I remember the "washing your mouth out with soap" discipline whenever a swear was said. That fucking shit didn't work with me though.
When I was young I was spanked with either a belt or a ping pong paddle and just the threat of being spanked made me behave👍 even through high school they still gave you "pops" in the principals office😂 nowadays if you do that you risk getting child services called on you👎 kids are out of control these days

I love my kids for who they are, and they truly know this. I help them learn about their mind and emotions, and let them say whatever they want in our house as long as it respects each other. We are big on banter with no political correctness or woke bullshit. They can swear and use dark humour of any sort.
For example. My son or daughter will say something like “dad why did that happen”. I will say “because you are a retarded spastic”. They will then call me something equally kind and we have a good laugh.
I genuinely don’t need to discipline them. We are all nuts, but can tone it down outside the house when needed.
