Did your parents swear? Do you find yourself swearing like them?

My parents rarely swore except when they were really upset. And usually it never went past a ’damnit’.
I on the other hand swear so bad and freely that I’m sure I have some minor form of Tourette’s syndrome. Where I got it from, I have no clue. I do know it fluctuates with emotions and I am notorious for using archaic, foreign and even made up insults.
Examples: Whench (olde English for a mean lady) Bröjastbarn (celtic for suckling baby) Boggart (made up word for bastard)
When I verbally argue, I even pickup this Scottish/British hybrid accent that ends up making me sound way harsher than I intend.

Not really, definitely not strong words, My Dad occasionally used 'Bloody' Mum never swore. Im very sweary, I often punctuate my sentences with 'fucking' even when Im happy, like 'omg this wine is fucking delicious' Cunt is my favourite word, it can be used in so many ways.

I can imagine you would….you look a lot like somebody who would be in say a high position in say a gov job ….my mum was semi high ranking in DPI ( Department of Primary Industries not a secret police task force 😁it’s still the gov) and you look very much alike the top lady there ( sadly she’s RIP now she was a lovely lady….my mother was super good friends with her she taught her everything she knew pretty much …) anywho I can just imagine you could cuss the head off of somebody and they crossed your path 😁👍

Growing up, at home not really. At work dad let loose when he was upset with what his employees were doing, that was entertaining to watch.

Mom has become a little sweary in her old age which is amusing. She regularly calls Trudeau a "worthless little cocksucker" which when coming from a tiny 82 year old woman who's otherwise very proper and demure is funny as fuck.

My Mother did adopt 'oh fuck it' and used it occasionally, which she had heard me say a few times in my thirties.

Both my parents swore without worrying if me and my sister were around, we had a pub in the family ever since I was about 2yrs old and so I spent a lot of time there as a young un, we had a house too so not 100% of the time was in the pub but it was a massive part of my growing up from really young. It wasn't a foodie pub either, only sells drinks so it was very sweary, very smoky and a lot of singing and shit. Basically no1 gave a fuck lol, I also swear around my kids and anyone else who is around me, I don't give a fuck who hears me swear, kids are smart enough to know that swearing is for adults if you tell them
