Have you ever spoken about your gore addiction to anyone, how'd they react?

I myself am I highly experienced welder/ industrial worker/Bluecollar pansy, whatever the fuck you label me as, I've seen more than enough gore in my 9 years of burning steels, even some on my self. I've been a best gore, the NYC and GG LOVER since I was 13, I'm 23 now and just recently I was speaking with a work buddy about this site and what it is and why I am the way I am (Desensitized and cold the the thought of certain death), and ... Well he kinda shuttered and turn the other cheek, now he's like.... Different but his personality is about the same as mine excluding the liking for blood and gore,
He told me he found God and that stuff Disturbs him to no end how I could watch people get fucked, die, or worse and honestly I don't know what to think about it any opinions I'm not bothered just don't know if I'm wrong or whatever. I know I'm fucked in the head but come on look at the world we live in it's all on this beautiful site, documenting reality 🤔

I made a slight error of showing cartel videos to a friend once. He would always show me fight videos and police shootings and shock/gross-out clips so I assumed he was hip to it... I went in hard and showed him one of the Mexican cartel face-flaying videos. He was kinda mad but a few seconds later he was like “lemme look at that again”... He had me in his phone as “Funky Town” for a few weeks 😂
When the Christchurch shooting happened we were talking about it at work one night and he commented about how he wasn’t able to find anything but the very beginning of the video where he was driving and first shooting down the hallway of the mosque. I hooked him up with the full version 😎
