Serious ED Hospital Wait Times - Our Healthcare System is Broken

YES,I understand that; But; when compared to the USA's Cost's...It's Free!!!
Or just seems like it! 🤘🤟🤙...SP

It would be interesting to know how they match up as in value, taxed versus paying.
That is interesting my friend! Now I want to know the answer! That could B valuable information 🤔.

It's all the retards that took the covid jabs. They're the ones now having heart attacks, adverse reactions and now getting covid over and over again cause their immune systems are fucked...
You're an imbecile.

Here's the situation this morning, much better but still not great.

For the most urgent class of call out where I live, an ambulance 9 times out of 10 will arrive within 29 minutes and 16 seconds. The median ********** response time was 13:22. Across all urgency levels in our local area, that covers several small towns.

As for appointments to see a specialist in the capitol. I have a current wait time of 1 year for surgery, in order to get to this point of surgery referral, it took since January 2021.

If I want to see a doctor, I have to have a phone consultation appointment, then they will deem it severe or not, to warrant an actual physical appointment. This can take from 1-2 weeks for a local General Practitioner.

These times will only get worse...... Their response is to go private, so you pay for the same NHS surgeon to operate......and drop your wait time down to 25%.

So why do I get hammered in Tax and National insurance again?

Ambulance response times had been traditionally very good but they've been having issues of late. For me to see my family doctor its very good service and can get in to see him or if he's on vacation a locum within 24 hours.

I get it, healthcare is complicated and its expensive but there has to be a better way to deliver it than what we're doing now. One of my biggest complaints having seen it from the inside is there are way too many people in administration that IMO do sweet fuck all.

When I read this i'm so happy I am a millionaire and as such don't have these problems.
Do you need a sugar baby? I can be bought.

There is all sorts of healthcare economists who slice & dice the info but there's usually some sort of political spin.

We have the same problem here, they are trying to tackle it and reduce the middle manager to nurse ratio and the likes, but it's still bloated, Our Ambulance service is going on a 1 day strike at the end of this month over pay disputes. Grim times tbh.

You're an imbecile.
The jabbed are filling up ED's around the world, The death rate in jabbed countries are running 20 to 30 percent higher than average and their are staff shortages in all industries that mandated jabs(health), as they threw in the jobs(like me)...That is why wait times in hospitals are ridiculous...

the thing here in the states is,if you want to been seen in a timely fashion, like really quickly, call an ambulance. they take you right in to the emergency room right off the bat. now im not sure if people are abusing this or not yet. but i wouldnt doubt it if they are.
all calling 911 because they stubbed their toe.

They must have different triage procedures. In Alberta you can call 911 for EMS and they'll certainly be dispatched but if you don't need to be seen by a higher level of care there's no guarantee of being transported to hospital. And if you do make it to emerg you don't just get dumped, you remain under the care of EMS until you're up'd to a nurse or doctor.

That said people abuse EMS here as well, its fucking annoying.

In the late 1980's, one of my children fell (at a family party), and I needed to take her to the ER. After waiting a while, I got annoyed and went into the ER administrator's office and said "I have Blue Cross/Blue Shield insurance, and I'm probably the only one here that's actually going to pay the bill. My child next." Amazing, she did get in next, got stitched up, and back to the party we went. The good old days...
You sound like a cunt IRL.

I've only needed a Ambulance twice after motorcycle accidents, but I refused treatment both times and saved myself a lot of money laying in my own bed. Pain is transitory, like inflation. Doctors are only useful for medical certificates so my employer pays me for staying home.

When people don't have to pay for Healthcare they will go to the ER with a hangnail because why not if you have time to spare. It's like that for anything that's "free" , people will always take advantage of it at the expense of others that need it more.

Go into my local hospital, halton region any time of the day or night. It is jammed with east indians from peel region has been this way for years, the worst part is they are there for the sniffels. We call peel bramladesh.

Damn that is a lot of limp noodles. Never heard of kids having ED, I remember mine went up if a girl was within ten miles.
Don't think more than 4 hours without a woodie is dangerous, only 4 hours with it is a problem.
Curious for a freind.... Do they have Blue Ball hospitals as well?

I work in Hospital and it seems like this is the case in most parts of the world. Covid jus exacerbated an already overloaded system. A lot of Staff have quit from burn out or refusal to have the vaccine. Many staff have to carry the burden and do extra shifts or work overtime.
