I have several reason for prowling the internet for hours at a time to find gore. It's relaxing, and a nice break from the censorship that plagues the internet these days. I'm 18 years old and discovered gore when i was 10 or 11. Im not sexually aroused by any of this stuff, and ill admit sometimes it can be quite sickening. My peers think im beyond fucked up for being so into this shit. I would consider myself relatively mentally sound. Does anyone else get shit for spending so much time watching people die?

Absolutely....My girlfriend thinks I'm fucked, my parents think I'm fucked, My few friends think I'm fucked and all of my co-workers think I'm fucked lol.

My family thinks it’s a bad idea because I “shouldn’t see stuff like that” but why not? It’s the REAL world, unfiltered. The world isn’t all rainbows and unicorns.

I have a therapist and he said the only problem he sees is that I “seek it out” rather than just seeing it happen naturally and he thinks it “puts me in a bad place”.

I disagree. I hate most humans and though seeing an animal get hurt kills me, I feel nothing when I see a human go through anything and it just makes me glad for the nice life I have. I also learn a lot about death, dying and medicine reading here.

I don’t get off on it sexually, I just find it entertaining.
