In the Novosibirsk region, three people suffered burns and fractures after a molten metal explosion at a plant.

Water splashed onto the hot metal, causing a loud explosion. The men who were nearby are currently hospitalized with traumatic brain injuries and fractures. One of the victims was hospitalized in serious condition with burns.

I know nothing about smelting metal. I notice the lower container/object spontaneously moved at 0:16 in the video timeline. I suspect the container they were pouring the molten material failed and the molten metal reached the lower container/object and somehow pressurized.
