So, Faces of Death is getting a "remake." Not in the way that you think, mind you. Legendary Entertainment are getting actors and a story together. Something that absolutely should not be done, in my personal opinion, but what do I know. Apparently it was quietly announced a while ago, but it's around the corner now.

"The new plot revolves around a female moderator of a Youtube-like website, whose job is to weed out offensive and violent content and who herself is recovering from a serious trauma, that stumbles across a group that is recreating the murders from the original film. But in the story primed for the digital age and age of online misinformation, the question faced is are the murders real or fake?"

I feel like I am obligated to check it out. At least it's something. Faces of Death tho has nothing on the Faces of Gore series.

If not familiar, Faces of Gore has footage entirely from Thailand. Very gory very real stuff, accidents, murders, suicides, ect.

The funny part is, the narrator always says the occurances happen in Japan. He even jokes about this made up mortician guy, Dr Fuji or something that likes to violate the corpses he brings back to his lab.
