A married couple died after their car was crushed by a heavy truck that reportedly lost braking capability.

Their two children survived: one had exited the vehicle moments earlier, and the other was rescued from the wreckage and hospitalized.

The brakes went out but the truck driver could have steered away from that tiny car. Turning to either side would have been preferable, and hopefully he wouldn't run over the pisser.
