Nice collection, I've always loved the Japanese style of story telling, start off with a feel good storyline and end with sadness, loss and depression! Very different from Western styles.

There’s nothing wrong with anime/manga or comics/cartoon.

Archer and King of the hill are two great examples of cartoons that are aimed at adults and are very well made.

The same can be said about anime/manga. Which is what this post is about.

I basically grew up watching these. We used to rent them at the video store, back in the day lol. Late 80's to mid 90's has the best graphics, compared today's imo.

Vampire Hunter D is amazing ,so is barefoot Gen but one of those you only watch once it's so harrowing .GnoCynercjadchreat body horror but story is a bit poo sadly.

It was just Dragon Ball, before DBZ and yeah, came out mid 80's. "Do-ra-go-n Bo-o-ru"
Created by Akira Toriyama in 1984, but it didn't come out till 1986.

I wasn't big on waterdown anime, except i loved "InYuasha" that came out in 2000.
