I completely agree, those that i know who claim to be Democratic have lost their damn minds. Some of my (recently ex) "Democratic" friends have always been pissy and bitchy at me because I consider myself as an equalist, and don't act all "FeMiNiSt" like them. What made them finally loose their shit, was after the election when I asked them "don't you think yall are overreacting a bit?" when they started posting the 4b shit, sharing "safe space info" and shaved their damn heads. I apparently struck a nerve with them because I started getting messages like "How can you be so blind, you're a bi female, your in danger just as much as we are." I told them that "for starters, Trump was in office once before and we were fine then we'll be fine now. Second I'm not gonna play this victim card that all of yall are doing, just because I'm bi and a woman. I'm not in any damn danger and if I was I have my guns, knives, and 5+years of self defense training. Lastly all of yall look stupid as fuck with your badly shaved heads 😆" I got blocked so damn fast.

When I was little my grandfather would tell me about Vietnam and how they were made to get involved in a war that wasn't any of the US's business, how many men died in terrible ways, and the absolute horror they dealt with over there, just to retreat and be thrown under the bus when they came back home. I started hating them even more after what they did to us here in Western NC after Hurricane Helene.

First the local news downplayed the severity of the disaster saying "oh there was at least 120 ish dead, don't listen to these people posting on social media everything is under control." There are still over 1000 missing and about as many dead. People were finding bodies or parts of bodies in the trees. They didn't give retrieval/rescue teams much time to find anyone, before bulldozing. FEMA was turning away people who were trying to help, or who were trying to deliver supplies and donations saying "we don't need physical donations, instead donate money online." It was so bad, people that had personal helicopters were airdropping supplies. Then FEMA was all "Oh if you need financial assistance, go online and fill out this application." Like how??? We had no power, no cell service nothing for weeks. Some places were out for even a month. Then all we got was $750, if approved. "Oh that's just the first payment, there will be more." That was a lie. Biden and Harris didn't even really visit or anything, they just flew over in a helicopter. But when Florida got hit with Milton, FEMA and the government went all out.
