Nah, people hate eachother. A small group of people long ago invented the concept of God (the abrahamic one) in order to trick the majority of people into being kind to eachother so society could advance beyond the tit for tat "eye for an eye" concept of revenge (this came along with the new Testament philosophy of "turn the other cheek"). This is why the west has advanced so much as it has in the last 2000 years while non-Abrahamic societies, who lack the fear of God, have largely stagnated. This is my theory anyway and I am open to criticism.
