Midnight Oil became super woke. The lead singer, Peter Garret, went into politics for a term with Labor. Then he went all abo and told us off about how racist we all were and how we had to only use solar power etc etc etc. Woke, middle class, lawyer cunt.

All I know is that Mountain is the most criminally underrated band of that era. Their only "hit" was Mississippi Queen, but that's far from their best song. Try Don't Look Around or Never in My Life or Nantucket Sleighride or Theme for an Imaginary Western or Crossroader or Travelin in the Dark.
