A tragic murder incident occurred in the 186 R.B. Dhillum area of Chak Jhumra due to a long-standing enmity, in which Waheed Babar Dhillon, nephew of Mubashir Iqbal Dhillon, was killed by indiscriminate firing.
According to sources, the Mubashir Iqbal Dhillon group claims that Waheed alias Koka Dhillon and the Hamza Dhillon group attacked Mubashir Iqbal's residence (dera). Armed individuals, who arrived in two vehicles, opened indiscriminate fire, resulting in Waheed Babar being killed and one gunman (security guard) injured.
CCTV footage of the incident has gone viral on social media, showing the attackers firing openly.
Sources indicate that a dispute had been ongoing between the two groups for six months, but all mediation efforts by respected local figures had failed.
A heavy police contingent has been deployed in the area, and efforts to arrest the accused are underway.
