Gore is not enough anymore

It never did much for me and I can't remember the last time it did. Maybe when I was a teenager on Charonboat back in the day. These days I just kind of gloss through videos and pictures where the action is over and they're just sitting there dead, or if the action is too quick like jumping off a building.

The exception is the shoot out, violent fist fights, and stabbings, road raging, and stuff are still pretty exciting. Like a good classic action movie, before Action movies became dogshit, but with real cards on the table. I really like those and it tickles my adrenaline and dopamine a little in equal measure.

There comes a time that the most gore moments here were not enough already for me. It's like I've come to this point that I've seen it all already. Nothing more surprises me or make me cringed even a little.
Yeah gore can get stale. But comedy is always fresh

Why not take a break? You'll see if you miss it, even if nothing can surprise you anymore. I think the big picture is more than just the content of the videos...

Yeah I was driving home last week and came across a guy having a seizure. I saw one before a few years ago and it freaked me out a bit but this time I wasn't bothered. I just rang the ambulance for the guy and waited til they came and went home, fed my dogs and had a beer. Because of watching gore I'm pretty sure if I came across a car accident I'd be pretty calm

I'm still moved by gorey stuff where the subject is still alive, like blew half his face off but still gurgling his way through it 💀 I cannot relate to a pile of lifeless meat on the road 🤷‍♂️

I came here out of curiosity and also because I was fed up with the "graphic content" warnings, the nannying, and didn't know exactly what to expect - turned out to be very interesting, not the gore itself, like blood and entrails, that's mostly boring, but what people do when you're not there, lol, the insane videos from all over the globe which you'd NEVER get to see on any regular news channel - you learn a lot about other countries, people, life in general.
