Tuesday morning, a tragic incident took the life of an employee of the Central Ingenio Sugar Consortium (CAC).
The victim, identified as Liphete Pierre was 35 years old and of Haitian nationality.
According to preliminary reports, Pierre was aboard the locomotive and fell off and ended up under the freight wagons.
