A New Jersey man blew his chance to get out of a ticket when he accidentally dropped a bag of cocaine on a cop who was questioning him about his illegal parking.
Secaucus cops were preparing to ticket and tow Eric L. Gonzalez’s car when they found it in the restricted spot at an Extended Stay hotel parking lot — with the engine running for more than two hours — at 3:25 a.m. on Dec. 8, Capt. Dennis Miller told NJ.com.
When Gonzalez, 28, came running out of the hotel to speak with police, he pulled his cell phone out of his pocket and a small bag appearing to contain a white powdery substance came with it — inconveniently landing on the officer’s boot. Cops later determined that the bag contained cocaine, according to the report.
Gonzalez, of Jersey City, was charged with possession of cocaine and possession of a prohibited weapon, a stiletto knife. He was taken to Hudson County Correctional Facility in Kearny.
Miller told the outlet that “proactive police work” allowed cops to arrest Gonzalez — and make several other drug-related busts last week in the town, which is home to nearly two dozen hotels.

“Proactive police work” - Sounds like the cop kicked him in the ass and the white powdery substance came with it.
