Agree re King and his spastic political ideologies... but some of his work is truly brilliant. Unfortunately much of it is sub ordinary in film format.

Would love to see quality productions of the Dark Tower, along with Black House and Revival.
'The Shining' was one of the all time great movies with brilliant direction. It stands up so well with time.

'Misery' was a wonderful film too. Cathy Bates got an Oscar for it, which would be impossible for a white women these days.

I saw the first 'It' which was B grade. Not seen the second. I do remember sitting up in my bed in my empty house with the covers wrapped around me scared shitless reading it in my early 20's...

The 2019 version of 'Pet Semetary' looks promising. Not seen it except for the shorts. The book was intellectually interesting too. Like they came back 'not quite right'.

I loved reading Pet Semetary.... twice. The old movie was ok, and the newer one better, though key character plots are arse about.
