Serious Has Watching Real Gore Here Ruined The Gore Effects In The Horror Movies You Watch?

I still like it, if the story is good and there is drama and passion in the kill. Just seeing gore, like with Saw, isn't really enough. I need a good story line or real gore.

film gore is silly most of the time because it puts the emphasis on the wrong things like disgust, horror (jump scares, serial killers etc.), esoteric or fantasy things

but "real" gore in the end for me it's about the strange beauty of anatomy, like bodies and limbs which are distorted and arranged in an unreal way, but this view is rarely captured in films

an example of one of those silly moments

Kurt Russell and Wilford Brimley classic!!

I turned away from gory movies when I watched Saw and Saw II. It was gore for the sake of gore and I just didn't enjoy it. Half way through Saw II, I told my girlfriend at time have that I was done with it. She said her husband felt the same way.

Only when it's completely off in the way the blood doesn't spurt or really flow what it's obviously an artery or if the color is completely off from blood red but if that's given at least a little attention then no, I already know it's not real so it doesn't really change anything.
Didn't care for the "Saw movies"
Yeah after the first one it got to be more of a drama than a horror movie, and wayyyy to drawn out like most franchise horror films. Not the worst but definitely not the best.

I think it's safe to say that they've nailed it pretty hard

I found movie gore to have little to no effect on me as I've always watched gory horror films and the stuff on here and fellow sites don't really bother me either tbh...... the only real cringe I feel is when I see compact fractures bones through the skin especially the lower leg ones I don't know why i get the shivers from seeing them though never had it likely never will yet amputations are just meh 😐 🤣

In my case it was horror videogames that ruined horror movies for me. Once I played these two all those zombie movies became a joke.

It is a fake and boring world. That's why I love that at least your freckles are real...cute. If I ever find out they're fake, I'll be so crushed.

I used to think that the horror movies I watched in the 80's were crazy gory, but when I started browsing gore forums the movies just didn't do it for me. Movies like the the 'Saw' series for example. None of the gore in that movie grosses me out at all now. You?
Yeah, I feel pretty much the same way. I will still always enjoy a good 'gore Horror Movie ' & a bottle of wine on the weekend though. 🥰☠😈🍷+🍕!
maybe the cartels should hire a writer and get a real production crew going and make some epic real gore thriller action movie
Yeah, now now your talking!!😎
