I remember doing some really stupid things as a kid, not anything as stupid as riding a skateboard at highway speeds while hanging onto a moving car, but the first thought in my mind, besides how stupid I was, was to turn back time by 10 seconds. The crazy thing was I was actually trying to turn back time with sheer willpower, as if it was possible. I bet that's what people in war do when they get shot or have their legs blown off. Then when that doesn't work they all inevitably find God, or at least some spiritual equivalent. Now I'm sure he wants to go back to the past!
Agreed. I never did anything crazy as a teenager that I can remember, I was more of a homebody, but I've certainly had events in my life that had me trying to "will" the clock back myself. Oh I'm sure there have been countless men in war who have done the same, and prison is another place where they seem to find God as well. Deep thinking, friend 👍I remember doing some really stupid things as a kid, not anything as stupid as riding a skateboard at highway speeds while hanging onto a moving car, but the first thought in my mind, besides how stupid I was, was to turn back time by 10 seconds. You're younger self obviously didn't posess a timewinder, a timestone, or even an ocarina... silly goose. You're not a God but, I like that your younger self thought like one & could manipulate time just by thought. You're like a Jedi. 🙂I remember doing some really stupid things as a kid, not anything as stupid as riding a skateboard at highway speeds while hanging onto a moving car, but the first thought in my mind, besides how stupid I was, was to turn back time by 10 seconds.
