Crime Her Card Got Declined

As comical as it all is, they should not have taken her phone. Broccoli headed bf should had practiced his snatch and run skills before trying it with quick handed Asian dude.

Surprised they didn’t just call their mom to get money venmo’ed to the place.
I asked Google and it told me what I already thought, that it is not legal to take someone's property because they owe you money unless you have a court order. I get tired of people coming here from other countries and ignoring our (I'm in the US) laws, and doing things the way they want to. More than 30 years ago some Chinese guy opened a restaurant in my town and decided that he was not going to accept pennies. I'm pretty sure that that was in violation of federal law back then, but I wasn't about to get into it with him. I took my pennies elsewhere.

These people could have called their mom or they could have called the police, assuming Broccoli Head had a phone in his pocket.

i have nothing on my phone except contacts. No financial info at all, i don't even have e-mail set-up. I only use it to text, make calls and take pics.
Good for you Hedgerow, that’s good discipline. I wish I could do that too. The other day, I enabled ApplePay on my phone, and it lasted about 24 hours before I got spooked and disabled that shit. I saw a YouTube about how people can stand next to you and use a proximity scanner (or no-contact card reader), and empty your accounts.

I hate how the conveniences it affords us all, comes with so much risk.
