Serious How Were You Introduced To Gore?

I used to watch tons of horror movies in the 80's and just ended up looking for more when I got my computer later in life. You? Did a friend tell you about gore sites? Reading gory magazines like Fangoria? Just decided one night that you were curious and explored by yourself?
Back in 1993, i was about 6 years old, my father rented a movie at our local movie rental outlet. Inside the box what was suppose to be a copy of George of the jungle, ended up being some type of faces of death video. My parents never really paid much attention to me as a kid so pretty much they would just rent me movies to keep me entertained. So I started watching this video almost all day for 3 days straight. I remember we were so broke we didnt have a vhs rewinder, i had to rewinded with our vcr wich took foreever. Ever since i was intrigued with death, gore etc. Over the years in my early teenage years i found this website rotten.com while searching for that drive i dearly missed. Ever since i have enjoyed watching people getting hurt or murdered. I get excited when i see these types of videos. At my younger years i enjoyed watching little children getting murdered. Now that i'm a grown man, ive developed empathy when seeing children getting hurt since i have children of my own now. I still enjoy watching videos of people getting hurt, but i cannot tolerate children and animals getting hurt now. Ive gotten soft. Ogrish.org was the shit in the early 2000s

Tbh, horror movies. Especially final destination series. It was so fascinating to me that I started portraying what I saw onto myself. turns out its not healthy so the alternative is getting to see it without harming myself lol.

The original Alien movie was my first taste. Pretty tame in comparison to the Faces of Death and Traces of Death series that I discovered several years later.

My friend showed me the BME Pain Olympics in the school cafeteria in like 6th-7th grade. I was like "what the fuck" and watched it a few more times on my own.
