I was opening my beehive and put one of the supers down on the ground and was working on a lower one. Finished and then picked up the super off the ground and got stung by two bees I accidentally crushed when I moved my handgrip. Dropped the super about a foot and a half...And then all hell broke loose - my vail got caught and tore away and it was game on for the bees!!!
I got 30-40 stings that time and the wife had to spray me to get the rest off me. Not fun and you do feel the poison when your stung that much even though you build up a certain amount of immunity over time. ( Or you go the other way and die from anaphylactic shock)
