You are both wrong, Faces of Death came out like 15 years before Traces. It is also untrue that all of the footage is fake/recreated. For example the plane crash segment which is footage of the aftermath of the crash of PSA 182 in a residential San Diego neighborhood.

I saw a real one many years ago and forgot the name, but normal films with gore have Evil death 1 and 2, and all of Terrifier, and several others that I can't remember now.
